FILM INDUSTRY

Sebre has entered the film industry by becoming a co-owner of Avala Studios in Belgrade including nearly 800 cinematic classics from the former Yugoslavia. Our efforts in the industry also have us an active investor in Artinii; an alternative global film distributor and a coproducer in the upcoming feature, 'Zatopek' directed by David Ondricek.

Avala Film Studios was founded in 1946, making it the oldest and largest film studios in former Yugoslavia. The first feature film produced at the studio was “Slavica” in 1947. We believe in investing, modernising, and developing new studio facilities to reinvigorate the film industry in Serbia. Avala Studios aims to recreate itself into a modern and high-quality studio that will anticipate the needs of any demanding production in the Balkans.
