„Architect Stanislav Fiala approached this building in a sort of Baroque way, attempting to link the old with the new, meant in the best way possible. Respecting the principles of Baroque aesthetics, I think Fiala's approach to renovation is groundbreaking and an inspiration to architects. Even though the materials may be slightly different, the intermingling of the classic with the modern and usage of the same principles is just perfect.“

In 2012, Petr Nemec and his master architect Stanislav Fiala started to draft their vision of a building of flowers and trees. Located near Narodni trida on what used to be a parking lot next to the baroque Schonkirchovsky palace stands DRN. DRN affirms itself while showing respect to its place in history. This is not only reflected in the reconstruction of the baroque palace but with its creative approach to remain an ultramodern office space. The core principle of the whole project is to find the delicate balance of mixing the old with the new. DRN also serves as an urban connection between the Mikulandska and Narodni Trida using passages and a public access backyard with a future connection to the renowned UMPRUM art school nearby. DRN currently serves as an office sharing space for WeWork, Nano Energies, TAKEDA and the Galerie Zdenek Sklenar. In 2019, the DRN project was sold to KGAL Investments.
